To Collect or not to Collect: That is the Question?

Encore Seniors' Education Centre program of St. Lawrence College offers a series of Workshops to persons age 45+. Requirements are membership fee of $10.00 per annum plus the cost of the workshop.There are no academic prerequisities and no tests or exams. The format of the class is informal, and encourages active participation and an exchange of thoughts.
A favourite hobby, collecting is exciting, gratifying and above all, fun - but without the right knowledge you could be destined for disappointment. Who could resist a pastime that combines the fun of shopping, the thrill of the hunt, the lure of a bargain, and the pride of ownership. We will look at the definition of collecting, the ten golden rules of collecting, a step by step guide to the market place, living with your collection, if and when you decide to sell your collection and resources.
Presenter: Theresa E. Taylor Professional Auctioneer, founded her auction company in 1997. She is an Accredited Auctioneer Real Estate (AARE), and holds the Institute of Canadian Certified Auctioneer (ICCA) designation. Ms. Taylor is a graduate of the World Wide College of Auctioneering.
